Hi I'm Echo - herbalist, nature enthusiast, mom of four wild and wonderful kids (two boys and two girls), and hands and heart behind Echos of Nature. My life is a beautiful whirlwind of motherhood, herbs, animals, creativity and adventure.

My journey into herbalism wasn't just a calling - it was deeply personal. I watched my brother courageously battle desmoplastic small round cell tumors (a rare type of sarcoma cancer) while undergoing rounds of chemotherapy. Witnessing his pain and strength changed me. I felt this deep desire to help, to support, to offer relief. That experience lit a fire within me and guided me toward studying herbal medicine - searching and expanding my knowledge to uncover nature's remedies and share them with others.

At home, our little homestead is full of the laughter - and a bit of chaos, thanks to our three dogs, two cats, a dozen (or so) quirky chickens and one ridiculous goose (Josh) who thinks he runs the place. My husband and I are raising our kids to appreciate the magic of the wild - whether we're camping under the stars, kayaking, hiking new trails, or simply exploring the world one messy, magical moment at a time.

When I'm not knee-deep in dried herbs or chasing after kids or feather or furry companions, you'll likely find me with a book in hand. I'm an avid reader with a deep love for fantasy worlds filled with magic, mystery, and epic quests - but I'm also a sucker for a good dark romance, historical fantasy, or swoon-worthy love story. Books fuel imagination and often inspire the energy I pour into my creations. When the last page turns, I find myself diving into research, exploring new herbs and old traditions to craft unique teas, soothing body creams, and healing potions meant to nourish body and spirit.

Our Story

Echos of Nature was born from grief, love and a whisper from the wild.

When my brother began his battle with desmoplastic small round cell tumors, I felt a deep pull to find natural ways to ease his pain and bring comfort. That search led me down the ancient path of herbal medicine - a path I now walk with heart, intention and reverence.

Rooted in the wisdom of the earth and guided by moonlight, my apothecary is a sacred space where magic and medicine meet. Every tea blend, salve and potion is crafted in small batches using organic, wildcrafted and locally sourced herbs - each creation a spell of healing, a ritual of care.
